★ Formerly known as CORTEX; texxy is the creator and co-owner of moth farm. Currently age 26, he has made some of Florida's hottest album covers, rap cyphers and FL fashion trends. Starting his music career in Jacksonville FL; Texxy (CORTEX) Released (listen if alone 2020); a "rage filled" emotional allegory quickly reaching the top charts in North Florida. His unique timbre and emotionally complex lyrics quickly cemented him as one of Florida's premier teen artists. ★ After relocating to south FL In 2020, he created the group "American Product"; a rap collective featuring himself, Kombo, Chiea and Atlas Abel. With singles like "Home Alone" and projects like "Rapture" the group soon caught the attention of the South FL music scene.
With this attention came scrutiny; and Cortex became the bullseye. Amassing one of the most controversial reputations in South Florida, he took a hiatus from the group and the pursuit of art all together. This marked the death of cortex and AP. A run, highlighted by years of influence and over the top backlash. over. No one had seen or heard from him the entire year following.★ Until 2025, seemingly out of nowhere; "Texxy" reappeared, completely reborn, completely hairless; with a new untapped foundation for the future. Like moth to a flame, the group reemerged stronger and larger than life. And such the vision they all shared years ago, is finally becoming reality. This isn't a villain origin story.
